The Cities and Villages Development Bank (CVDB) on Monday concluded a two-day workshop on preparing economic feasibility studies, held within the Municipal Services and Social Resilience Project funded by the World Bank.
In a statement to Petra, CVDB Director General, Osama Azzam, said the workshop focused on dealing with the mechanism of preparing economic feasibility studies, in terms of basic skills on how to develop investment ideas into applicable and sustainable business projects.
“More than 40 participants from different municipalities and ministries were exposed to a professional and detailed presentation on the elements of economic feasibility, and the methodology of computers required in such studies to ensure the success and sustainability of commercial projects,” he added.
The Municipal Services and Social Resilience Project seeks to provide a number of municipalities with the technical and financial support in order to implement sustainable development projects in various sectors to advance Jordan’s development process.
