Amman, Warm conditions are expected to prevail Wednesday across many parts of the country as temperatures jump few degrees above annual average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Clouds at high and medium altitudes are also expected, mainly in the eastern parts of the Kingdom, while winds will be easterly to northeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD said
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 21 degrees Celsius in Amman, 22 in the northern cities and 18 in the southern governorates dropping down to 11,12 and 9 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 28 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 17, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will remain above their seasonal average on Thursday and it will be warm nationwide, the JMD noted.
Weak unstable weather conditions are expected to start affecting the Kingdom Thursday afternoon, creating cloudy skies and scattered rain that may turn heavy at night in the eastern regions. Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times in the southern and eastern areas, the department noted.
The country will remain under the impact of the unstable weather, but warm conditions will continue to prevail with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for scatted showers in various areas, the JMD further said.
