Two Palestinians killed, one injured by Israeli fire west Ramallah

Ramallah, Two Palestinians were killed and another one was seriously injured early Monday by Israeli occupation fire, claiming they attempted to run-over Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at the entrance of Kafr Ni’ma village, west of the West Bank city of Ramallah.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement Israeli troops opened fire against three locals, leaving two of them killed, while the third was seriously wounded.

In a statement, head of the village council, Khaldoon Al-Deek, said that the incident took place at 4:00 am in an area with difficult terrain, adding what happened was due to a traffic accident, because of the dangerous street-turn, where the soldiers opened fire at the vehicle .

As a result, Israeli forces stormed the village, arrested a local who was identified as Yousef Mahmoud Al-Deek and opened fire at a Palestinian vehicle.

“The area remains a closed military zone,” it added .

Also today, clashes erupted in the area, where a number of Palestinian citizens suffered suffocation due to inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli occupation troops .

According to the Israeli media, an Israeli officer was seriously wounded, and another soldier lightly injured after Palestinians rammed their car into them as alleged by the occupation army.
