Teachers, students suffer suffocation in Hebron as Israeli forces target schools

Ramallah, Dozens of Palestinian teachers and students on Sunday suffered suffocation due to inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli forces towards the school compound in the West Bank city of Hebron, according to a Palestinian source.

Directorate of Education in Hebron said in a statement that Israeli forces fired poisonous gas bombs at students and teachers as they entered the school this morning, causing suffocation for many of them.

Students of the schools located in southern Hebron are subject to daily attacks by the occupation forces and provocations from settlers, that directly affects the teaching process.
