Amman, The unified procurement department for medicines and medical supplies started to bid for medicines for the current year to cover the needs of the general health sector of medicines for the next 2020 with an estimated value of 130 million dinars.
The Director General of the unified procurement department Dr. Nizar Mehdat said: The tenders include 17 pharmaceutical groups containing more than 800 pharmaceuticals, and a list of life medicines that must be available in health institutions, especially in case of emergency, to be supplied ahead of schedule. They are always available and uninterrupted.
Mehaidat pointed out that the department is in line with the government’s intentions of electronic transformation, through the application of the electronic procurement system JONEPS mandatory
