Royal Medical Services sends aid convoy to Gaza

Amman, The Royal Medical Services sent a convoy to the Jordanian field hospital in the Gaza Strip in implementation of the Royal directives to provide all kinds of assistance to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The convoy is part of efforts and keenness of His Majesty King Abdullah II to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people at all levels, and to provide advanced medical services to the wounded in the coastal enclave.

Director General of the RMS Major General Mueen Habashneh said the convoy included specialties in general surgery, orthopedics, arterial surgery, chest surgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, in addition to nursing staff.

The Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza which has been working in Gaza since 2009, provided medical services to more that 2 million Gazans.
