Police nabs several “wanted” suspects

Amman, The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested three suspects involved in several theft cases across the Kingdom’s governorates.

The media spokesperson at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the personnel of the CID in the Northern Badia and Mafraq regions were able to arrest three persons, who committed a number of theft incidents that targeted sheep and poultry breeding farms.

The bust raids came upon complaints from a number of farm owners in the Northern Badia and Mafraq districts, he pointed out.

He added a follow-up team was set up by the CID to identify the perpetrators of these theft cases.

During investigation, a suspect admitted that he committed 12 theft cases of farms in the areas of the Northern Badia, Mafraq, Zarqa and Ramtha, in complicity with two other persons, who were all apprehended and refereed to the judiciary.

In a related context, a “wanted” suspect was arrested by the Northern Badia Criminal Investigation teams in the area of Rihab , Mafraq governorate.
