Amman, Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, took part in a working day, entitled “Public-Private Partnership within the Government Action Plan initiatives”, organized by the Jordan Strategy Forum.
The prime minister said the government is very much interested at such meetings, which will enhance the positive aspects of the real partnership between the public and private sectors to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.
He added that the government came out of a list of government priorities for 2019 and 2020 based on the royal letter of designation and the speech from the throne. Those priorities are not a wish list and don’t include all the work of ministries and institutions, Razzaz indicated, emphasizing that “We have begun the implementation and accountability taking into consideration that we are still with the end of the first month of 2019.”
The prime minister referred to the positive report issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Thursday on the second review of the Jordanian economy and measures taken by the government.
Following the opening session, the premier attended of the four specialized sessions on the energy and water, commodity and service exports, tourism and medical tourism, and investment and entrepreneurship.
