Dead Sea, Prime Minister, Hani Mulki and Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, Atif Tarawneh attended the signing of agreements for the establishment of investment projects in the Kingdom and expanding others, at the Jordanian Economic Forum, which concluded Thursday in the Dead Sea.
The investment in these projects amounted to $174 million, distributed in several sectors, including industry, agriculture and medicine fields.
Tarawneh said the Lower House is has taken an important step in partnership with the government and the private sector by providing suitable opportunities to launch investment agreements with the private sector that benefit local communities and create permanent job opportunities for young people.
The Forum is the first to be organized by the Lower House at this level of broad participation, Tarawneh noted,
The house, in addition to its supervisory and legislative role, provides solutions and opens windows to attract investments, to benefit the national economy and enable it to address regional challenges and crises.
