Spring-like and pleasant weather conditions are expected to prevail on Sunday in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be warm, with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
On Monday, temperatures are forecast to rise few degrees, bringing relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and spring-like moderate weather in other regions, the JMD added.
As we head into Tuesday, a further increase in mercury levels is predicted, becoming 5-6 degrees above annual average and making warm weather in the highlands and the plains, and relatively hot conditions in other areas, while winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia, the department noted.
Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 20 degrees Celsius, dropping to 11C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 29C, dipping to 16C during night hours.
