Palestinian protesters gather at Gaza border for 7th consecutive Friday

Gaza, Thousands of Palestinian protesters gathered on Friday at the camps along the eastern border of the besieged Gaza Strip for the seventh consecutive Friday to partake in the Great March of Return protests.

More Palestinians are also expected to arrive to camps set up in five locations along Gaza border, including Khan Younis, Rafah and al-Bureij refugee camp, to demand their right of return to their villages and towns they were forcibly displaced from in 1948.

Since the outbreak of the protests, at least 45 protestors, including two journalists, were shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces, while more than 8,500 others were either injured or suffered suffocation from Israeli teargas.
