Palestinian injured, others suffocated by Israeli soldiers in Jenin

Ramallah, At least one Palestinian was wounded and other civilians suffered suffocation early Monday in clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank city of Jenin, according to Palestinian source.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement that violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the occupation troops who broke into the city and fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters, leaving a Palestinian injured and many others suffocated.

The suffocated people were treated at the scene, while the injured man was transferred to the Jenin Public Hospital, the statement added.
