Palestinian infant among 58 killed in Gaza as US embassy opens in Jerusalem

Gaza, Israeli forces have killed at least 58 Palestinians, including a baby, and left 2,771 injured Monday during the peaceful “the Great Return March” alongside the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian health official confirmed Tuesday.

The spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qedreh said that Laila al-Ghandour, 8 months, died yesterday from the effects of teargas inhalation due to the Israeli occupation soldiers’s use of high-velocity teargas bombs.

The bloodshed marks another deadly day in Gaza besieged enclave, a few miles away where Israel and the US held a festive inauguration ceremony for the new American embassy in the occupied holy city of Jerusalem.
