North Korean leader arrives in Russia

Amman, North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, Wednesday arrived in Russia ahead of his planned summit with Russian President, Vladimir Putin, North Korean state news agency announced .

“The young North Korean leader left the capital of Pyongyang on Wednesday at dawn and is traveling to Russia by train,” it added.

The meeting will be his first with a foreign leader since his second summit with US President Donald Trump, which breakdown in February in Hanoi.

The talks, which will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Vladivostok, in Russia’s far east, are in response to Putin’s many calls since the end of last year’s diplomatic isolation of the North Korean leader.

The two leaders’ talks will focus on resolving the nuclear issue and bilateral relations.
