Moscow, Russia and Turkey have agreed on a complete ceasefire in Syria’s Idlib province between Syrian government forces and rebels, according to a Russian military source.
Chief of Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria, Major General Viktor Kupchishin, said that starting midnight of 12 June, full ceasefire is applied to the so-called Idlib de-escalation zone.
“The Syrian government troops have not opened retaliatory fire, respecting the reached agreements,” he added.
During the past few months, a ceasefire has been applied between insurgents and Syrian government forces.
