Amman, A slight drop in mercury levels is expected on Saturday, bringing moderate conditions in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with northwesterly moderate winds picking up at times.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief, similar weather conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days with northwesterly moderate winds.
Daytimes temperatures forecast for today will reach 33 degrees Celsius in Amman, 32 in the northern and southern cites , dropping down at night to 20 , 19 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs standing at 41 and lows dropping 27, the JMD added.
