Baghdad, The Security Media Cell announced the launching of the operations of the Iraqi heroes / the first stage at dawn today, Wednesday, to inspect and clear Anbar Governorate and the surrounding areas in the Iraqi-Syrian-Jordanian borders.

A cell statement said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, and after the victory will operations achieved their goals during its eight phases in 2019, the operations of the Iraq Heroes / Phase One, launched at dawn today and with the participation of the Land Forces Command, the Baghdad Operations Command and the Guards Command the borders and the annexed units, noting that this operation comes to inspect and clear Anbar Governorate and the surrounding areas in the Iraqi-Syrian-Jordanian borders and the separating borders with the leadership of the Central Euphrates and Baghdad operations to eliminate the remnants of terrorism and impose security and strengthen stability. “

He explained that the operations came through five axes, the first axis: the Border Guard Command and the Anbar Operations Command, the second axis: the Anbar Operations Command, the third axis: Al Furat Operations Command, the fourth axis: the Operations Command of the Middle Euphrates, and the fifth axis: the Baghdad Operations Command, with chain Full of the Iraqi air force and army aviation, for the first time, the Air Defense Command is involved in opening advanced missile batteries in the area of operations to protect Iraqi airspace, indicating that the operations of the Iraq champions / the first stage are targeting an area of (26238 km2) and with the participation of all security and intelligence agencies.

He pointed out that the Iraqi air force F-16s and other types will fly at low altitudes, according to the operational requirements.
