King condoles Japan over flood victims

His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday sent two cables to Japan’s Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe condoling them over the victims of heavy downpours and floods that hit several parts of southern and western Japan, killing dozens and displacing hundreds of thousands.

In his cables, the King expressed Jordan’s solidarity with the Japanese people to overcome the effects of the disaster and offered his deepest condolences to the Japanese Emperor and Prime Minister, the families of the victims and the people of Japan.
