Kazakhstan: New talks on Syria this month

Amman, The next round of talks under the “Astana Process” will take place in 25-26 of April in Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tleuberdi, announced today.

Russian Sputnik news quoted the minister as saying, that official confirmation has not received yet, but initial information indicates that the talks will take place on April 25 and 26.

The Kazakh capital has hosted several rounds of Astana talks on Syria with the participation of the three guarantor states (Russia, Turkey and Iran).

Together with its main partners and the UN special envoy to Syria, Russia is working on forming a joint constitutional committee to develop a vision for constitutional reform in Syria.
