Jordan’s ambassador to Turkey participates in graduation ceremony

Jordan’s ambassador to Turkey, Ismail Rifai, on Tuesday, participated in a graduation ceremony for foreign students at the Turkish Police Academy that included 14 Jordanian students in the bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

In remarks during the ceremony which was attended by number of Turkish officials and ambassadors accredited to Turkey, Deputy Director of Turkish Public Security Department Ali Celik said it is important for Turkish police academies to be open to the outside world to raise the level of education, adding that Turkey is considered one of the leading countries in the field of police and military education.

He pointed that 63 graduates received a bachelor’s degree, while 35 students received a master’s degree through scholarships offered by the Turkish government to friendly countries.

Director of the Turkish Police Academy, Safak Comakli , said that the graduates received a distinguished police education as well in addition to learning Turkish language and culture, adding that this will contribute to the development of relations between Turkey and friendly countries.
