Jordan is participating in the extraordinary meeting of the Arab Military Sports Federation, which ends Wednesday, at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
Director general of the Jordanian Military Sports Council, Brigadier Jihad Qteishat, represents Jordan at the event, which started last Monday.
In a statement to Petra, Qteishat, who is also a member of the Arab federation’s executive office, the event is organized to review the future Arab military championships, in addition to preparations to hold the next meeting in Kuwait next April, during which a new president of the Arab federation will be elected.
Qteishat also confirmed his candidacy for the presidency of the federation.
