Jordan condemns Israel’s announcement to create nature preserves in West Bank

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Wednesday, inveighed against Israel’s announcement to cerate seven nature preserves and expand 12 others in “C” area in the occupied West Bank.

Ambassador Daif-Allah al-Fayez, the spokesperson of the Ministry, said that this condemned action constitutes a violation of international law and international humanitarian law through entrenching settling and confiscating Palestinian-owned lands in the occupied West Bank.

Al-Fayez urged the international community to shoulder its responsibility and curb the Israeli policy of settling that undermines any effort aimed at settling the conflict and achieving comprehensive peace, and oblige Israel to respect and implement international resolutions, foremost of which is the UN Security Council Resolution 2334.
