Amman, The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) on Monday discussed with Egyptian Ambassador Sherif Kamel prospects of boosting economic cooperation and trade between the two countries.
JBA President Hamdi Tabaa said the association has worked with its Egyptian counterpart to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Tabaa pointed out that the Kingdom could benefit from Egypt’s strong economic and trade ties with African nations to facilitate the entry of Jordanian products to the African market.
During the meeting, Kamel lauded the deep and historic Jordanian-Egyptian relations, stressing that the embassy is keen on cooperating with the JBA to further cement ties.
He stressed the importance of enhancing joint action between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq through holding business meetings to explore investment opportunities in the housing, contracting, water and energy sectors.
