Japanese Prime Minister arrives in Amman

Amman, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, accompanied by his wife, arrived in Amman on Monday for a two-day official visit to the Kingdom, during which he will hold talks with His Majesty King Abdullah II on ways to develop relations between the two countries and the current regional developments.

During the visit, Abe, who is also accompanied by an economic delegation comprising CEOs of a number of Japanese companies, is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Hani Mulki.

Upon arrival, the Japanese Prime Minister was received by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, the Jordanian ambassador in Japan, the Japanese ambassador in Jordan, and other officials.
