Health minister visits QAIA, checks on COVID-19 tests procedures

Health Minister, Saad Jaber, on Monday visited the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) to check first-hand on established safety and health procedures to receive passengers arriving at the airport.


Jaber underlined the readiness of medical teams and staff operating at the airport, who took the necessary measures once passengers arrive, such as thermal and laboratory coronavirus tests to ensure the safety of citizens and arrivals.


The minister Jaber added that the laboratory in the arrivals building at the airport is equipped with advanced laboratory devices capable of conducting 600,000 tests per day, in addition to enhancing the existing teams with specialized medical personnel.
