Amman, Photographers and interested persons last night opened an expo for group photo exhibition “Wandering-Home” at the SABE-Campus in Jabal Amman.
The 15-day expo, which was organized by the Image Festival 2019 and within the framework of the Goethe-Institute’s program, saw the participation of photographers from Syria, Jordan and Germany.
Among the projects exhibited is i.e. Maximilian Manns “Lake Urmia” and the effects of climate change that forces the natives to leave their homes, and “Memory” by Hassan Albukaai.
Participating photographer Husam Manasrah told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that his pictures entitled “Glimpse of the desert” tell the story of the Zalabya tribe that migrated to Jordan in the early 20th century and settled in the south of the country.
