Five Jordanian boxers qualify for Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Five Jordanian boxers have qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, in an unprecedented achievement for the Jordanian boxing.

Boxers Hussein Ishaish, Ziad Ishaish, Odai Hindawi, Obada Al Kasbeh and Mohammed Al Wadi succeeded in the qualification fights at the Boxing Road to Tokyo Asian/Oceanian Qualifying Event, concluding in Amman tomorrow with participation of 221 players representing 35 countries.

Jordan Olympic Committee Secretary General, Nasser Majali, told “Petra” that the achievement is the result of great and deliberate efforts made by the Olympic Committee, headed by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein.
