Amman, The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ committee pricing oil derivatives decided on Saturday to amend some of the fuel prices for the month of December.
According to the decision, the selling price of 90-octane gasoline will rise by JD0.1 to JD0.775 per liter instead of JD0.765 per liter, and the price of 95-octane gasoline will go up by JD0.5 to JD1.01 per liter instead of JD1.005 per liter, while the price of diesel and kerosene was fixed at JD0.595 per liter.
The committee, which prices oil derivatives on monthly basis according to international petroleum prices, also fixed the price of a cooking gas cylinder at JD7.0.
It said that a review of international prices revealed that the average price of Brent crude rose from $59.7 per barrel in the month of October to $62.9 per barrel in November.
