China’s foreign exchange reserves rise to $3.101 trillion in May

Beijing, China’s foreign exchange reserves expanded to $3.101 trillion at the end of May, up 0.2 percent from the end of April, official data showed Monday.

According to China’s stte-run news agency, Xinhua, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange said the reading marked the highest level in nine months.

Last April, Foreign exchange reserves amounted to $3.094 trillion, while in March it stood at $3.098 trillion, it added.
