Amman, Director General of the Civil Defense Department (CDD), Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah, and Commander of Operations and Plans in the Kuwaiti National Guard, Maj. Gen. Faleh Shuja, Monday discussed prospects of fostering cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Bazaiah highlighted the effective academic role of the Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Academy of Civil Protection through its rare specializations in civil protection sciences.
Talented Kuwaiti students had enrolled in the academy, pursuing degrees in fire extinguish engineering and crisis management, he said.
For his part, Shuja underscored the depth of the “brotherly ties binding both countries”, stressing the need to sustain the exchange of expertise, particularly in marine salvage areas so as to promote the humanitarian interests of civil defence agencies.
