Amman, CARE International, on Tuesday, Tuesday announced the opening of registration for male and female Jordanians for its “Small Business Development Program”.
The program, according to statement issued by the organization, includes training for the development or starting of small projects, which gives trainees the necessary knowledge to run their own small businesses.
The training will run for ten consecutive days for 4 hours a day from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in Amman, except for Fridays and Saturdays .
After completing the program successfully, the participants will receive a certificate of attendance and transportation compensation for the days of attendance. Additionally, the participants will receive a grant to start their own small business and will be provided with technical supervision and follow-ups during the management of their projects.
CARE states that there are a number of requirements the applicants must meet in order to be eligible; most important of which is to be a Jordanian between the ages 20-50, residing in Amman, and having a small business or a creative idea that needs support.
