Arab ambassadors’ council in Tokyo blasts New Zealand’s terrorist massacre

Tokyo, The Council of Ambassadors and Heads of Arab Diplomatic Missions in Tokyo condemned the terrorist massacre in New Zealand that killed 50 people and wounded dozens.

“The world’s political leaders should make more efforts to confront Islamophobia, racism, divisive rhetoric, acts of hatred and terrorist attacks against any religion,” the council’s statement said, adding the massacre was a tragic event.

The council noted it is important that “we stand together as human beings in opposing all acts and words of hatred against any group based on their religion, race or affiliation”.
