Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Academy of Civil Protection’s sixth class graduated

Deputizing for HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah, Director General of the Civil Defense, Major Gen. Mustafa Bazaeeh on Thursday sponsored the graduation ceremony of the sixth class of Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Academy of Civil Protection.

In his speech, Dr. Abdullah Zuabi, President of Al-Balqa’ Applied University, a key partner of the academy, said: “This academic scientific landmark was established to meet requirements of today’s developments and to keep pace with Jordan’s comprehensive development in all areas of life”.

Al-Balqa’ Applied University harnesses its potentials to ensure that the academy’s alumni are qualified and trained, and will add qualitatively to the labor market in all domains, Zuabi pointed out.

The academy, inaugurated in 2009, aims at establishing an international and specialised centre in the fields of civil defence and protection and also grants the bachelor degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Disaster Management, and Specialist in Paramedic.
