60 percent of 2nd Ma’an solar complex accomplished

Maan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ma’an Development Company Hussein Krishan said that 60 percent of infrastructure work at the second Ma’an solar complex has been completed, noting that the complex will be ready by November.

Krishan told Petra that Ma’an Development Company, the development arm of the Maan Development Area, floated a tender for the construction of the second solar complex at the beginning of the year, adding that work is continuing at the 150 MW photovoltaic power station, according to a plan and program.

“The second solar complex will be benefit the Kingdom in general and the Governorate of Ma’an in particular, by providing at least 1,000 temporary jobs at the construction stage and 100-150 permanent jobs during the final operation of the project” he added.
